University of South Carolina Upstate

Nathan Dixon is in his fifth year as the Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations and his eighth in the athletic department. Previously, he served as the Coordinator of Athletics Facilities and Game Management in 2011-12 and as an intern in 2010-11.

Dixon graduated from the University of South Carolina in December of 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Entertainment Management. He served his internship at Upstate as part of his educational program at South Carolina. Prior to his undergraduate work at South Carolina, Dixon was enrolled at Clemson University (2007) and Spartanburg Methodist (2006-07).

Dixon then earned his master's degree in sports management from Liberty in 2016.

A native of Blacksburg, S.C., and a graduate of Blacksburg High School, Dixon and wife, Taylor, are expecting their first child in September.
