
Spartan Women's Soccer Earns Academic Award

Spartanburg, S.C. - The USC Upstate women's soccer team has received the NSCAA Academic Award for academic excellence, one of three Peach Belt Conference schools to be recognized by the organization.
The award is given to all programs that achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2005-06 academic year. Upstate finished with a 3.19 GPA. USC Aiken (3.21 GPA) and Columbus State (3.00 GPA) were the other two Peach Belt Conference schools earning the NSCAA Academic Award. The NSCAA recognized 316 teams in all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA.
