Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate senior forward Torrey Craig was tabbed as the College Sports Madness Atlantic Sun Player of the Week, the publication announced on Monday.
Craig poured in 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds to go along with three assists and three blocked shots in helping USC Upstate claim a 64-63 victory at Virginia Tech Saturday afternoon. It was the program's first-ever win over an ACC opponent.
USC Upstate is back in action Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when Craig and the Spartans travel to Rock Hill, S.C., to battle Winthrop from the Winthrop Coliseum.
