Spots Still Remain for Upstate Elite Catching Camp

Spartanburg, S.C. – There is still time to reserve your spot for the 2015 USC Upstate Baseball Elite Catcher's Camp scheduled for Jan. 17-18, 2015, at Cleveland S. Harley Park on the USC Upstate campus.
The Elite Catcher's Camp aims to teach the fundamentals of catching through knowledge, enthusiasm and excitement. Campers will be instructed in all aspects of catching, which includes stance, receiving, blocking and throwing mechanics, fielding of bunts, pop-ups, tag plays, game management, pitch calling and communicating with pitchers and umpires.
Catcher specific stretching, agilities and overview of strength and conditioning will also be covered.
The USC Upstate Elite Catcher's Camp is a great opportunity for players to showcase their ability, improve their game and learn from Division I coaches and players.
