Spartans Win Twice against UNC Asheville at Elon Fall Invitational

Elon, N.C. – The USC Upstate men's tennis team recorded two victories against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs this past weekend during the two-day Elon Fall Invitational from the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
Lenhard Haupt, playing at the No. 7 position, earned Upstate's victory in singles action as he defeated Olly Cull in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.
Competing at the No. 2 doubles spot, the combination of Matt Bennion and Felix Ewers topped Henry Patten and Josh Swindler by a score of 8-5.
The Spartans return to the court Oct. 15-18 for the ITA Carolina Regional in Raleigh, N.C.
