
Spartans Close Out Regular Season against Kennesaw State

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's soccer team will conclude the 2016 regular season on Saturday afternoon as the Spartans host Kennesaw State at 1 p.m.
Upstate is 0-13-3 overall and 0-5-1 in the ASUN Conference following a 6-0 loss at Lipscomb on Saturday. Seniors Rachel Baylor and Ciara Murphy will be honored as part of Senior Day festivities prior to the match.
Brooke Bailey leads the NCAA with 107 saves and is eighth in saves per game with 7.13.
Kennesaw State enters the match with an 8-7-1 overall record and a 3-3-0 league mark after a 3-0 win at NJIT on Saturday. The Owls have clinched the No. 4 seed in the ASUN Conference Tournament next week. Kennesaw State leads the all-time series 11-0 following a 1-0 win in Spartanburg last year. This will be the third consecutive season that the two teams have played in the regular season finale.
