Jackson Earns College Sports Madness Weekly Honor

Spartanburg, S.C. – USC Upstate junior Tyler Jackson has been named the College Sports Madness Atlantic Sun Player of the Week.
The Piedmont, S.C. native struck out a career-high 13 batters while allowing five hits in a 7-1 complete game victory at The Citadel last Tuesday. Jackson surpassed his previous career-high of 12 strikeouts and has struck out 25 batters over his last two starts.
Jackson picks up his second honor of the week as he was named the A-Sun Co-Pitcher of the Week yesterday.
Upstate faces No. 12 South Carolina at Fluor Field in Greenville tonight at 7 p.m.
