Simonetti, Arora Ranked in Latest ITA National Doubles Poll

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate men's tennis doubles combination of Ramon Simonetti and Ankush Arora are ranked in the latest National Doubles Poll by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), it was announced this afternoon.
Simonetti and Arora are ranked 78th nationally after recently capping off their 2016 season by being named A-Sun Second Team All-Conference at number one doubles following an 8-4 campaign. The duo finished their season on a three-match winning streak with all three wins coming in the A-Sun Men's Tennis Championships last weekend against Lipscomb, Florida Gulf Coast and No. 75 North Florida.
The pair earned conference wins in the regular season over Lipscomb and Kennesaw State. Simonetti and Arora wrapped up their season with a 6-4 victory over 24th-ranked Jack Findel-Hawkins and Yannick Zuern in the conference tournament championship match.
