
Spartans Renew Rivalry with Wofford on Tuesday

Spartanburg, S.C. – After a three year hiatus the USC Upstate women's soccer team will face Spartanburg rival Wofford College on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Snyder Field.
Upstate is 0-6-2 following a 6-0 home loss to Campbell on Sunday evening. Kayla Dean, Maddie Little and Leah Tyson each had two shots while the Spartans held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Wofford is 1-5 after a 3-1 home victory over Presbyterian College on Friday night. The Terriers have lost to Duke, Coastal Carolina, Davidson, UNC Asheville and South Carolina State this season.
Wofford leads the all-time series 4-0-1. Tuesday's meeting is the first since a 0-0 tie at County University Soccer Stadium on Aug. 25, 2013.
