Spartans Wrap Up Non-Conference Schedule against Presbyterian College

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's soccer team will close out the non-conference portion of the 2016 schedule on Friday night as the Spartans host Presbyterian College at 7 p.m. inside County University Soccer Stadium.
Upstate enters with a 0-7-2 record following a 2-0 loss at Wofford on Tuesday night.
Presbyterian College is 1-5 following a 3-0 home loss to Furman on Tuesday. The Blue Hose won their season opener against Hampton but have lost their last five matches to California State-Bakersfield, Mercer, Wofford, North Florida and Furman.
The Blue Hose lead the all-time series 8-1 following a 3-1 victory in 2015. Brian Purcell is in his 27th season as head coach and has been at the helm since the program's inception in 1989.

Upstate opens ASUN play next Saturday at County University Soccer Stadium against NJIT at 1 p.m.
