
Spartans Travel to Radford for Sunday Matchup

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate and Radford women's soccer teams will meet for the fourth time in series history on Sunday afternoon as the Spartans travel to Patrick D. Cupp Memorial Stadium for a 2 p.m. contest.
Upstate is 0-3-2 following a 2-0 loss to Furman at County University Soccer Stadium on Thursday. Furman held Upstate to a season-low six shots.
Radford is 0-2 following a 2-1 loss to Appalachian State on Sunday. The Highlanders suffered a 1-0 defeat to ETSU on August 23 in their first match of the season. ETSU defeated Upstate by the same 1-0 score on August 19.
Radford leads the all-time series 3-0 following a 2-1 win in Spartanburg last year.
The Spartans continue a stretch of matches against Big South Conference teams as they host UNC Asheville on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Campbell on Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.
