
Spartans Host UNC Asheville on Thursday

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's soccer team returns to County University Soccer Stadium on Thursday night as the Spartans host UNC Asheville at 7 p.m. The first 50 Upstate students will receive a free t-shirt.
Upstate is 0-4-2 following a 2-0 loss at Radford on Sunday afternoon. The Spartans have been held to six shots in each of their last two matches.
Brooke Bailey leads the ASUN with 57 saves and is second in the league with a .891 save percentage.
UNC Asheville is 2-4 following a 2-0 home loss to Kennesaw State on Sunday in the first meeting between the schools. UNCA has victories over Wofford and Western Carolina with losses against Tennessee Tech, The Citadel, UAB and Kennesaw State.
The Bulldogs lead the all-time series 4-0 following a 2-1 overtime victory last season.
Upstate concludes a three-match stretch against Big South Conference foes on Sunday against Campbell at 6 p.m.
