Series History
vs. North Carolina A&T: Meeting for the second time in a Big South Conference match Friday, Upstate and North Carolina A&T are meeting for the fifth time in program history. The Spartans lead the all-time series 4-0 with the Spartans taking a five-set thriller at the G.B. Hodge Center in the teams' only meeting this season.

vs. High Point: Having met each season since Upstate joined the Big South in 2018, the Spartans and Panthers are meeting for the seventh time in the Division I era on the floor Saturday afternoon. Overall, High Point leads the all-time series 6-0 as the Panthers captured the earlier season meeting between the two teams in four sets.

Players to Watch
Upstate: After scooping up 34 digs and helping lead her team to hold its opponents to a .107 combined hitting percentage, senior libero Mackenzie Marcum captured the program's first Big South Libero of the Week accolade. She totaled a team-best 20 digs in a win against then-first place Campbell before finishing the weekend with a match-high 14 digs versus Hampton.

North Carolina A&T: Ranking 19^th in the country in total blocks, middle blocker Shaylynn Hall is an imposing force for the Aggie defense. She also leads the Big South in blocks per set, averaging 1.18 rejections per set. On the offensive side of the ball, Hall leads the Big South in hitting efficiency, posting a .374 hitting percentage.

High Point: Tallying 31 kills behind a .420 hitting percentage, outside hitter Dylan Maberry claimed co-Big South Player of the Week honors this past week. Averaging 5.17 kills per set, she opened the weekend hitting .389 with 15 kills against Radford while hitting .455 with 16 kills versus North Carolina A&T.

UP Next for the Spartans
Following the final weekend of the regular season, the Spartans turn their attention to the postseason and the 2021 Big South Volleyball Championship. With seeding still to be determined, Upstate has locked itself into the six-team field with play at the Championship beginning November 19 in Buies Creek, N.C.
