How It Happened
First Quarter

- Bob Jones stymied the Spartan scoring run with a three-pointer from the top of the key, prompting an Upstate timeout and the game's first media stoppage.
- Out of the timeout, Upstate responded, holding the Bruins to 1-of-6 shooting and just four points over the quarter's final six-and-a-half minutes. The Spartans outscored Bob Jones 21-4 to close the quarter, seeing Hannah Roberts lead the way with 12 points, including going 3-of-4 from long range in the quarter.
Second Quarter
- Upstate opened the second period scoring with four quick points with Rachael Rose scoring her lone points of the game with a three from the wing before Coleman added an additional tally from the free throw line.
- After trading layups ahead of the quarter's media timeout, Upstate began a 7-0 scoring stretch moment's before the media timeout as Takia Davis (four points) and Roberts (three points) ignited the run.
- Seeking to trim the Upstate advantage heading into the locker room, Bob Jones ended the half on a 5-0 scoring run—its longest of the game.
Third Quarter
- After seeing the Bruins get another 5-0 scoring run near the open of the third quarter, Upstate raced out to its second double-figure scoring run of the evening, scoring 10 straight points, spurred by five from Logan.
- Over the final 6:45 of the quarter, the Spartans held Bob Jones to just three field goal attempts and zero field goal makes as Upstate outscored its opponent 18-5 to close the period.
Fourth Quarter
- Continuing a run beginning with a made free throw to close the third quarter, Upstate scored the first seven points of the final period to create the 8- run as Coleman (four points) and Roberts (three points) led the run.
- Following a Bob Jones three-pointer, Upstate used its second-longest run of the game, scoring 12 straight points over a roughly two-minute stretch.
