Men's Basketball Wraps Up Trio of Games Versus The ACC With A Trip to Florida State

Series History
Concluding the Spartans' three-game slate against Atlantic Coast Conference foes, USC Upstate and Florida State are meeting for the first time in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.) Tuesday evening. Against ACC foes in the program's D1 era, Upstate owns a 2-13 record while owning wins over Georgia Tech (Dec. 6, 2014) and Virginia Tech (Nov. 9, 2013).

Players to Watch
Upstate: Making his season debut Saturday against South Carolina State, senior guard Mysta Goodloe put forth a career effort with career-highs in scoring, three-pointers made, and free throws made. He scored 20 points versus the Bulldogs, doing so behind three made threes and 11 made free throws with his 11 made free throws making him the first Spartan this season to make double-digit attempts from the charity stripe. He also added five rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the game.
Florida State: Scoring a game-high 16 points versus Louisville, redshirt junior guard Caleb Mills pushed his season scoring average over 12 points per game as he ranks second on the Seminole club in scoring, averaging 12.2 points per game. One of three players averaging 12 points per game, he's scored in double-figures in eight games this season, including a season-best 21 points versus Florida on Nov. 18.

Following the team's road trip to Florida State, Upstate remains on the road for its final non-conference game as it treks to Kennesaw State on Dec. 20. The Spartans and Owls clash features a 7 p.m. ET tip-off.
