Women's Golf Looks To Carry Fall's Momentum Into Its Spring Opener at the Sea Best Intercollegiate at San Jose

Coming off a pair of team tournament victories to close the fall portion of the team's schedule, USC Upstate women's golf enters the spring semester looking to ride the momentum from its fall finish as it competes at the Sea Best Intercollegiate at San Jose.
The Spartans enter the spring following team titles at the Terrier Intercollegiate and the French Broad Collegiate Invite while entering with the reigning Big South Player of the Week in junior Suwarin Yord-in and one of three Big South golfers to earn medalist honors this season in redshirt junior Preaw Nontarux.
Heading into the spring slate, Nontarux leads the Big South in stroke average at 71.89 while redshirt senior Beem Pabsimma (74.56) and Yord-in (75.44) rank 11th and 15th, respectively, in the league in stroke average. As a team, Upstate ranks third with a team average of 300.89 but does carry two tournament victories into the spring.
The Sea Best Intercollegiate at San Jose tees off from San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla. with 36 holes Monday and the final 18 holes Tuesday. The two-day event will also stream live on GameKast Live.
