Upstate: The Spartans began the regular season on Thursday against UNC Greensboro. Luke Halkett led Upstate with three shots. Anthony Cox, Fabian Dietrich, and Dzenan Cerimagic each recorded a shot on goal. Cooper Jennings finished the match with four saves. Thursday's match saw four freshmen make their first appearance in an Upstate uniform.

ETSU: The Buccaneers started the regular season with a win over Longwood University. Ingvar Kolbjornsen, Henrique Cruz, and Zayd Idlibi each contributed a goal in the win. Senior goalkeeper Marc Kouadio recorded two saves on the night. ETSU brought in 11 freshmen for the 2024 season.
