Women's Golf Eyes a Successful Start to the Spring Season at the SeaBest Intercollegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – USC Upstate women's golf opens the spring season with a trip to Florida for the SeaBest Intercollegiate at San Jose Country Club.
The Spartans' last tournament was November 2nd at the Fripp Island Preview, in which they finished fifth out of seventh. Leading the way were Rylie Kosney and Alexis Rieli, who finished tied for second and fourth, respectively. As a team, the Spartans finished the Fripp Island Preview with 27 birdies.
Upstate has played in the SeaBest Intercollegiate for the past two years and at San Jose Country Club for the past three years. Each time proves to be a successful trip, with the Spartans finishing last year's tournament fourth out of 15th.

San Jose Country Club is known for its Donald Ross design. The 18-hole course plays at 7,043 yards from the professional tees, with five varying tee options. The par 72 course is enjoyed by golfers at multiple skill levels.
