Maddie Smith Earns Big South Freshman of the Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced the women's soccer player of the week awards this afternoon, with USC Upstate collecting its fifth weekly honor of the season.
Earning her first-ever weekly award, Maddie Smith claimed the Freshman of the Week award after her performance against South Carolina State. Making her 15th appearance in a match this season, Smith tallied a career-high two assists behind 41 minutes of action.
