Women's Golf Heads to Georgia for the Brickyard Collegiate

MACON, Ga. – Due to forecasted weather in the area, the Brickyard Intercollegiate first round will be held tomorrow, April 6, and rounds two and three will be held on Tuesday, April 8. USC Upstate women's golf looks to carry some of the highlights from the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge into this tournament as a final tune-up before the Big South Championship.
Eliza Whiteside is the golfer to watch this weekend, coming off a steady performance at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge. She carded 75 in the first and second rounds, breaking her records for both an 18-hole and 54-hole event.

About the Course: Brickyard Golf Club is recognized by Golf Digest as the 18th-best golf course in Georgia. It is a par 72, 7,200-yard course that, after the redesign, now contains new bunkers, a new clubhouse, over 1,800 trees, and 4 million square feet of new sod.
