USC Upstate Baseball announces alumni gathering events in April and May

SPARTANBURG, SC -- The USC Upstate baseball program invites back all former Rifles and Spartans to attend a pair of alumni and friends events coming up in April and May.

Baseball Alumni Night, Friday April 10 at Harley Park
Up first will be Baseball Alumni Day, Friday, April 10, 2025 as the Spartans host Charleston Southern at Harley Park.
First pitch is slated for 6:00 pm. Alumni will be welcome on the field pregame and a special outdoor version of the Ingles Champions Suite, including complimentary refreshments, will be created above the first base dugout with exclusive access for Alumni, family members and Upstate Athletic Fund Spartan Shield donors. All children age 12 and under will be invited to the field postgame to run the bases as well.Â
Admission to the game is free compliments of our partnership with Ingles Markets. Thus, the Alumni Night gathering is also free, but we ask for RSVPs to be submitted by 5pm, Wednesday, April 8 to ensure the best fan experience possible. To register, click here.Â
This marks game one of the series with CSU and should weather affect Friday's contest, Alumni Day festivities will move to Saturday's 2pm contest.Â
Baseball Alumni Night, Tuesday, May 5 at Fluor Field
New this season, there will be a second gathering for baseball alumni on Tuesday, May 5th as the Spartans host Elon at Fluor Field in Greenville. Tickets required for the contest with Elon and are $10 per person. Purchase tickets here.
While all seats are Fluor Field are general admission, when you purchase your game tickets please email Upstate Athletic Fund assistant Thomas Mathis at TM95@email.uscupstate.edu so you may be added to a list so alumni will be seated together in coordination with our colleagues with the Greenville Drive.
