SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Head Coach Marty Richer has announced Andrej Radivojevic to the 2026-27 signing class for USC Upstate Men's Basketball ahead of the new campaign. Radivojevic comes to Upstate after playing a season at Centre National du Basket Suisse in Switzerland-NLB.
Radivojevic was a standout player who averaged 10.9 points during the 2025-26 season while shooting 52 percent from the field and 75 percent from the charity stripe. He held his own on the boards with 7.8 rebounds a game including 2.3 offensive rebounds and 5.5 defensive. He displayed his will to consistently score in double figures with seven double figure games. Standing at seven feet, he averaged a block a game, and his wingspan forced offenses to cough the ball up where he added one steal a game. Coming from overseas, he looks to spring into the Marty Richter system where his FIBA experience can fit in where Richter will be able to get him into the right spots with his skill. His experience in the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup can easily translate to the Big South where many players in the post have dominated by taking their game to the next level.
Head Coach, Marty Richter has expressed his excitement on the addition of Radivojevic mentioning, "Andrej immediately brings both size and international experience to our roster for the season ahead. We're eager to help him bring his game to the next level here at Upstate and for him to be involved with the Spartan community on campus."
As Andrej Radivojevic begins his new journey in Hub City, he will be ready to report and develop under the loaded coaching staff led by Marty Richter along with adding depth to the roster as the Spartans prepare for the next step in the new season. As he begins his journey, Radivojevic will prepare to acclimate the new system in front of Spartan Army.
