Jason Williams Announces the 2026/27 Non-Conference Schedule for Women's Basketball

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – USC Upstate women's basketball has announced its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season, featuring a challenging slate of regional opponents and eight home contests inside the G.B. Hodge Center.
The Spartans open the season on the road on Monday, Nov. 2, traveling to Winston-Salem, N.C., to face Wake Forest. Upstate then returns to Spartanburg for back-to-back home games, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 4 against Johnson University (Tenn.) at 6:30 p.m. Southern Wesleyan follows on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m.
Upstate returns to the road for four consecutive contests beginning Tuesday, Nov. 10 at South Carolina State. The Spartans then visit UNC Greensboro on Saturday, Nov. 14 before traveling to Clemson on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The road swing concludes Saturday, Nov. 21 at Tennessee Tech.
The Spartans return to the Hodge Center ahead of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m, against an opponent to be announced. Upstate remains home on Saturday, Nov. 28, welcoming Georgia Southern-East Georgia for a 4 p.m. tip.
December begins with another home contest as the Spartans host Queens University of Charlotte on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 4 p.m. as the opening game of a doubleheader.
Upstate then welcomes Samford to Spartanburg on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. before continuing its home stand against Western Carolina on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 6 p.m.
The Spartans' final home non-conference game comes Wednesday, Dec. 16 with an 11 a.m. tip against an opponent to be named later. Upstate closes its non-conference slate on the road Saturday, Dec. 19 against Campbell.
