Biography

2015-16:  Made an appearance in 31 games and logged 26 starts…Finished the season averaging 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game…Ranked third on the team in both rebounding and assists, and fourth in scoring…Posted a 44.0% (103-for-234) shooting percentage from the field and was a 71.4% (50-of-70) free-throw shooter…Scored a career-high 20 points twice against Winthrop and Jacksonville…Pulled down a season-best nine rebounds, tying his career-high, two times versus Presbyterian College and during a home win over NJIT…Tied his career-high of seven assists against Presbyterian College and Winthrop…Added a 19-point scoring performance, along with seven rebounds, in a home victory against Lees-McRae…Finished the regular season by matching his career-high of three steals in a last-second win over NJIT.

2014-15:
 Played in all 36 games and served as Upstate’s top reserve off the bench…Averaged 7.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game… Ranked sixth in the ASUN with a 1.7 assist/turnover ratio…Stood 15th in the conference with 1.6 offensive rebounds per game…Scored a career-high 16 points to go along with eight rebounds against Jacksonville…Had 14 points and a career-best nine rebounds in a victory at Stetson…Scored 12 points and hit a career-high four three-pointers to help Upstate post an upset win at Georgia Tech…Also hit four three-pointers against Jacksonville…Finished with 14 points and a career-high seven assists in Upstate’s win over Montreat… Had 10 points, eight rebounds and a career-high three steals in a victory over Bob Jones…Scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds in Upstate’s win over James Madison in the CIT…Tallied eight rebounds and six assists in a victory over Stetson.

2013-14:  Willingly gave up his redshirt season following an injury to Ty Greene midway through the season…Played in a total of nine games and averaged 2.7 points and 1.1 rebounds…Had eight points, two rebounds and two three-points in Upstate’s win at Northern Kentucky…Had a stretch of four straight games with one three-pointer…Scored five points, had two rebounds and was a perfect 2-for-2 from the field in a win at North Florida…Averaged 12.2 minutes per game.

High School:  Played under head coach Bryan Geohring at West Craven High School…Helped lead West Craven to a 25-5 overall record and an appearance in the “Sweet 16” of the North Carolina State Basketball Tournament in 2013…Was a First Team All-State and First Team All-District selection as a senior…Tabbed as the Area Player of the Year and Conference Player of the Year as a senior…Averaged 29.5 points, 13.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in his final season at West Craven…Selected as the 2011-12 Sun Journal Basketball Player of the Year after averaging 27 points and 11 rebounds per game…Helped the Eagles reach the 3-A Eastern Regional Semifinals in 2012.
