PRIOR TO USC UPSTATE: Attended New Plymouth Boys High School (New Zealand) leading the Huias in scoring during his junior year with 21 goals scored seven assists followed by 25 goals scored and 26 assists during his senior season....received honors being on the New Zealand Secondary Schools u16 team along with being named captains of the NZ U17, NPBHS ID Camp MVP, golden boot, and captain...... Du played club for the Stop Out SC scoring 10 goals along with adding five assists in 16 games along with appearing in the Quarterfinals of National U19 tournament.
