2011-12: Stepped up her play when the Spartans needed her the most…Played in four tournaments, all in the spring…Finished fourth on the team in stroke average…After shooting all three rounds of her first tournament in the 90s, shot six of the next eight rounds in the low-to-mid 80s…Had her best showing with rounds of 81 and 83 at the Low Country Intercollegiate (March 25-26), finishing in the top half of the field…A four-year member of the SAAC and will serve as an officer this year…An A-Sun All-Academic selection.
2010-11: Saw action in four tournament, all in the spring...Turned in her best rounds of the season with an 86 in the final round of the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic (Feb. 22) and the final round of the Spring Fling Invitational (March 13).
2009-10: Played in eight tournaments as a freshman…Gained valuable experience on the course…Posted her best round, a 79, in the final round of the Holiday Inn Express Hatter Classic.
High School: Was an integral part of the Wade Hampton High School girls'' golf team...Earned the Rookie of the Year award after her freshman campaign...Also earned the Leading Scorer Award after recording the lowest team average during her senior season...Was a two time all-region selection...Owns the school record for lowest nine-hole score in school history (37)...Was also a member of the softball and track & field teams during her prep career...Named to the academic honor roll numerous times.
Personal: Born on Sept. 4, 1991 in Greenville, S.C…Daughter of Ron and Myra Clontz…Has a younger brother, Perry…Father, Ron, played tennis at Appalachian State...A Business Administration major.
