SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Fans, there are only two weeks left in the voting for the Top 25 Moments in Upstate Baseball History. Make sure you cast your vote today on the final ballot to make sure your favorite moment from Upstate baseball makes the list. The voting will close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 16, eight days prior to the USC Upstate Alumni Game. More than 200 votes have already been collected!
The ballot has been split into five distinct eras to ensure solid representation from across all of the program's 25-year history. Fans will have the ability to select five moments from a list created in each era (1986-89, 1990-94, 1995-99, 2000-04, 2005-09) and the top five vote-getters in each era will make the Top 25 Moments.
The Top 25 Moments in Upstate baseball history will be released on UpstateSpartans.com from Monday, Feb. 15 to Friday, Feb. 19 in a weeklong celebration before the Spartans open their Silver Season on Saturday, Feb. 20 against Appalachian State.
Each of the 25 moments will be honored with a PA announcement before one of USC Upstate's 29 home games at beautiful Harley Park. Check back on UpstateSpartans.com for the complete commemoration schedule in late February.
