Reserve Your Spot for Upstate Baseball Elite Catcher Camp

Spartanburg, S.C. – There is still time to reserve your spot for the 2014 USC Upstate Baseball Elite Catcher's Camp scheduled for Jan. 18-19, 2014, at Cleveland S. Harley Park on the Upstate campus.
Led by sixth-year Upstate assistant coach Grant Rembert, the Elite Catcher's Camp aims to teach the fundamentals of catching through knowledge, enthusiasm and excitement. Campers will be instructed in all aspects of catching, which includes stance, receiving, blocking and throwing mechanics, fielding of bunts, pop-ups, tag plays, game management, pitch calling and communications with pitchers and umpires.
Catcher specific stretching, agilities and overview of strength and conditioning will also be covered.
The Upstate Elite Catcher's Camp is a great opportunity for players to showcase their ability, improve their game and learn from Division I coaches and players.
