
Upstate Returns to the Tee Monday at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate

Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate men's golf team is back on the course for the second straight week beginning Monday as part of the 16-team Wolfpack Intercollegiate hosted by N.C. State at the par 71, 7358 yard Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
Upstate finished in sixth place out of 12 teams last week at the three-day Badger Invitational led by Ryan Cornfield who tied for 15th place. Taylor White ended the tournament two spots behind Cornfield in a tie for 17th place while Sebastian Lopez Bulla placed in a tie for 23rd. Tom Schofield and Trey Taylor rounded out the Badger Invitational for the Spartans in a tie for 64th and 70th positions.
The Wolfpack Intercollegiate, due to weather, will consist of one round on Monday and one on Tuesday. Tee times for both days is set for 8 a.m.
A total of 16 teams are scheduled to compete both days at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate along with Upstate. The other teams included in the field are Augusta (individual), West Virginia (individual), UT-Chattanooga, Campbell, Lipscomb (individual), Loyola-Maryland, UNC Greensboro, Seton Hall (individual), Temple, George Washington, Western Carolina, Wofford (individual), Hartford, N.C. State and Drexel.

The Spartans are back in action Oct. 24-25 at the Camden Collegiate Invitational in Camden, S.C.
