Spartans Host Bob Jones on Saturday

Spartanburg, S.C. - The USC Upstate women's basketball team returns to the Hodge Center on Saturday afternoon as the Spartans welcome Bob Jones for a 1 p.m. matchup.
Upstate is 3-5 after a 57-37 loss at Furman on Wednesday. Brittney Delva led the Spartans with a career-high 12 points while Vanessa Agrusa tied a career-high with seven rebounds. Raven Jefferson leads Upstate with an average of 11.8 points per game while A'Lexxus Davis is the leading rebounder with 5.3 rebounds per game.
Bob Jones enters Saturday's game with a 4-6 record following an 88-59 loss at Southern Wesleyan last night. Hannah Tompkins leads the Bruins with an average of 15.8 points per game while Sarah Thomsen is also averaging double figures with 10.1 points per game. Amanda Bates is the leading rebounder with 8.0 rebounds per game.
Saturday is the second all-time meeting between the schools with the Spartans defeating the Bruins 96-46 on Nov. 17, 2015.
