
Upstate Makes Return Trip to Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate

Spartanburg, S.C. – For the fourth straight season, the USC Upstate men's golf team travels to Raleigh, N.C. to play in the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate for its second fall tournament of the year from the par 72, 7,358-yard Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
The Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate is a 54-hole tournament played over the course of two days. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday with an 8 a.m. start. Tuesday will feature 18 holes of competition with tee times also beginning at 8 a.m.
Upstate will be sending out a five-player lineup consisting of Jordan Warnock, Reid Bedell, Matt Carter, Conner Conkel and Hunter Fry.
The Spartans are one of 14 teams competing at the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate along with N.C. State, Campbell, East Carolina, Francis Marion, George Washington, High Point, James Madison, Loyola (Md.), Maryland, North Carolina, UNC Greensboro, UT-Chattanooga and Wofford.
Upstate began its fall season on Sept. 19 hosting the Bridgestone Stroke Play from the Legends Course at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Ga. Warnock led the team individually with a top-10 performance while the Spartans finished in fourth place of the team standings. Conkel and Bedell, both playing in their first tournaments at Upstate, joined Warnock inside the top-10. The Spartans led the tournament field in both par 5 scoring and birdies.

The Spartans are back in action Oct. 21-22 at the Camden Collegiate Classic from the Camden Country Club.
