Raleigh, N.C. – Reid Bedell had a final round 75 to finish in a tie for 15^th place to lead the USC Upstate men's golf team during the final round of the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate on Tuesday from the par 72, 7,358-yard Lonnie Poole Golf Course.

Upstate carded a 302 in its third round on Tuesday and finished tournament play in ninth place with a combined score of 889 (296-291-302).

Host N.C. State won the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate by two strokes over North Carolina with an 848. Stephen Franken of N.C. State took home individual medalist honors after shooting a 15-under 201.

A LOOK AT THE SCORECARD

Bedell collected the first top-15 finish of his career following the third round 75 and concluded the tournament with a total score of 216 (71-70-75).
Matt Carter finished two strokes behind Bedell in a tie for 25^th place after tallying a combined score of 218 (74-68-76).
Bedell and Carter were followed on the individual leaderboard by Jordan Warnock (T-31^st), Hunter Fry (T-65^th) and Conner Conkel (74^th).
Bedell and Warnock had the lowest rounds of the day for the Spartans with each carding a 75.
Upstate had the third-best scoring mark on par 5 holes finishing at 10-under par with a 4.87 stroke average.
The Spartans also had a 3.19 stroke average in par 3 scoring and 4.39 stroke average in par 4 scoring.
Upstate recorded a total of 143 pars and finished fifth with 50 birdies.
Fry contributed the only eagle of the tournament which came on the par 5 15^th hole.
Bedell was one of the top players in par 5 scoring with a 7-under 4.53 stroke average to rank tied for third among the tournament field.
Bedell also led the team with 17 birdies.
Carter had a 1-over 4.04 stroke average in par 4 scoring, 4-under 4.73 stroke average in par 5 scoring and was second on the team with 13 birdies.
Warnock ranked second at the Wolfpack Fall Intercollegiate with 39 pars.
