Spartanburg, S.C. – Due to weather in the Spartanburg area on Monday, the first round of the Wofford Invitational has been halted from The Country Club of Spartanburg and will resume on Tuesday morning.
The Wofford Invitational has been adjusted to a 36-hole tournament with the opening round set to continue at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The second, and final, round will tee off at 12 p.m. from the par 72, 6648-yard course.
As round one was not completed, the USC Upstate men's golf team unofficially sits in 11th place of the team standings at 5-over par but five strokes separate it from Gardner-Webb in fifth place.
Jordan Warnock leads the Spartans individually at 3-under through 15 holes and is tied for fifth on the leaderboard. Taylor White is 1-over through 14 holes while Matt Carter is 3-over after 15. Through 16 and 17 holes, respectively, Sun Paripunna and Trey Taylor are both 4-over par.
Playing as individuals, Sean Stanistreet is at even-par through 15 holes and Tom Schofield is 6-over after 16.
