Women's Golf Takes Aim at Home Course Seeking to Wrap the Fall Strong at the Terrier Intercollegiate

Event Preview
Taking to the course for the final time during the team's fall slate, USC Upstate women's golf looks to continue its strong and momentous fall run on a quite familiar course at Carolina Country Club at the Terrier Intercollegiate.
Competing on its home course, Upstate looks to continue its stretch of events with a top-five low team round after firing one such round in each of the team's three events this season, including a final round 288 (E) at the Buccaneer Classic. The Spartans have also seen their 54-hole team total decrease over each of the past three events, culminating with an 882 at the Buccaneer Classic—tied for the third-lowest 54-hole team total in program history.
At the Buccaneer Classic, Upstate's 288 and 882 were built thanks to all six Spartan golfers in the event carding a score of 73 (+1) or better with four golfers doing so in the final round. Leading Upstate at the event, redshirt sophomore Preaw Nontarux earned her third All-Tournament Team placement behind scores of 74-70-69-213 (-3) as she fashioned the lowest 54-hole total of her career.
For her efforts, Nontarux garnered Big South Golfer of the Week accolades, claiming the award for the first time in her career while earning her 10th overall Big South weekly honor.
