Women's Golf Wraps Fall Slate Tying for Third at the Terrier Intercollegiate as Preaw Nontarux Earns Fourth Straight All-Tournament Team Placement

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Competing on their home course for the first time in 2021-22, USC Upstate women's golf captured three top-15 finishers, including a member of the All-Tournament Team, as the Spartans wrapped the fall slate at the Terrier Intercollegiate Tuesday.
Earning her fourth All-Tournament Team appearance of the season, redshirt sophomore Preaw Nontarux claimed her best finish of the season, tying for third. She carded scores of 72-72-70-214 (-2) as she fashioned her first event of the season with all three rounds at or below par while posting eight such rounds through four events this fall.
Behind Nontarux on the leaderboard, redshirt junior Beem Pabsimma and sophomore Suwarin Yord-in captured the Spartans' two other top-15 placements as the pair tied for 14th. Pabsimma claimed her second top-15 placement of the season behind scores of 74-71-79-224 (+8) while Yord-in secured her first top-15 placement of 2021-22 with scores of 77-73-74-224 (+8).
As a team, Upstate paced the six-team Big South contingent in the 17-team Terrier Intercollegiate field, posting the team's best finish of the fall season, tying for third. The Spartans posted scores of 299-292-305-896, earning the program's second top-five of the season.
