Preaw Nontarux Claims Her Fifth Straight All-Tournament Team Placement for Women's Golf With A Runner-Up Finish at the French Broad Collegiate Invite

ARDEN, N.C. – For the fifth time this season, USC Upstate women's golf's Preaw Nontarux found herself on an All-Tournament Team as the redshirt sophomore collected her best finish of the season for the second consecutive event, claiming a runner-up finish at the French Broad Collegiate Invite.
En route to her runner-up finish, Nontarux found herself sitting atop the leaderboard following Tuesday's second round, jumping 15 up 15 spots. She fashioned scores of 76-71-72-219 as she held the French Broad Collegiate Invite lead for most of the final day before Eastern Kentucky's Ragga Kristinsdottir claimed the tournament victory following her second one-under-par round of the event—the lowest two rounds of the tournament.
Nontarux wasn't the lone top-10 finisher for the Spartans as the event concluded Tuesday as redshirt junior Beem Pabsimma tied for ninth, claiming her second top-10 finish of the season. Pabsimma carded totals of 77-76-71-224 as she jumped 12 places on the leaderboard following her final round 71 (E) to tie Nontarux's second round for the lowest round by a Spartan at the French Broad Collegiate Invite.
Redshirt sophomore Abigayle Hatcher claimed Upstate's third top-25 finish of the match as she wrote down scores of 82-75-75-232 to finish tied for 25th, her best finish of the season. Tying for 36th and 38th, respectively, freshman Elin Wahlgren (82-82-76-240) and sophomore Suwarin Yord-in (85-78-78-241) gave Upstate five top-40 finishers at the event.
As a team, Upstate claimed its fourth straight top-10 finish to wrap the fall slate, finishing fourth at the French Broad Collegiate Invite after posting rounds of 317-300-294-911.

- Posting her best finish of the season—a runner-up finish—Preaw Nontarux has collected All-Tournament Team honors in all five of Upstate's tournaments this fall.
- The conclusion of the French Broad Collegiate Invite also marks the second straight event the Spartans have claimed three top-25 finishers after also doing so at the Terrier Intercollegiate.
- The team's five top-40 finishers mark the second time Upstate has accomplished the feat this fall, also doing so at the Sea Best Jacksonville Classic.
