Event Preview
Hitting the course for one final time during the fall portion of the team's schedule, USC Upstate women's golf seeks its third consecutive top-10 finish and third top-five of the fall at the French Broad Collegiate Invite.
Tying for third at the Terrier Intercollegiate—contested on the program's home course, Carolina Country Club—the Spartans claimed their best finish of the fall. Leading to the team's third-place finish, Upstate claimed three top-15 finishers as redshirt sophomore Preaw Nontarux, redshirt junior Beem Pabsimma, and sophomore Suwarin Yord-in led the Spartans.
Nontarux paced the group as she claimed her best finish of the fall behind her first event with all three rounds at or below par of the fall, fashioning scores of 72-72-70-214 (-2). She tied for third in the event, earning her fourth All-Tournament Team appearance of the season.
Pabsimma and Yord-in tied for 14th at the Terrier Intercollegiate, claiming their second and first, respectively, top-15 finishes of the fall. Pabsimma carded scores of 74-71-798-224 (+8) while Yord-in marked down totals of 77-73-74-224 (+8).
