Women's Golf Claims Runner-Up Finish as Four Spartans Finish Top-15 at the San Jose Intercollegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Following up its tournament championship at the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic, USC Upstate women's golf claimed a second straight podium finish and a sixth straight top-six finish with a runner-up placement at the San Jose Intercollegiate.
Building upon last week's results—the first tournament this season to feature four Spartans among the top-20 finishers—Upstate saw four Spartans place in the top-15 at the San Jose Intercollegiate en route to its runner-up finish.
Returning to the top of the Spartans' leaderboard, redshirt sophomore Preaw Nontarux claimed her sixth All-Tournament Team appearance through seven events, placing fifth at the San Jose Intercollegiate, fashioning scores of 74-79-72-225.
Joining her in the top-15 were sophomore Suwarin Yord-in (82-73-74-225), redshirt junior Beem Pabsimma (80-71-79-230), and redshirt junior Kathryn Elliott (75-78-79-232), placing tied for eighth, tied for 10th, and tied for 14th, respectively.

- Finishing fifth at the San Jose Intercollegiate, Preaw Nontarux claimed her sixth All-Tournament Team appearance through seven events this season. Leading to her placement, she finished top-10 in the field in Par-3, Par-4, and Par-5 scoring while placing top-10 in total birdies.
- Tying for eighth in the field, Suwarin Yord-in claimed her best finish of the season. She concluded the San Jose Intercollegiate ranked top-10 in the field in Par-4 and Par-5 scoring while finishing top-10 in total pars.
- Carding an eagle on the San Jose Country Club's Par-4, 376-yard 18th hole, Beem Pabsimma tallied one of seven eagles at the event. Over the past two events, she's carded four total eagles.
