Women's Golf Looks to Continue Momentous Spring Against a Tough Field at the River Landing Classic

Tournament Preview
Coming off a tournament victory and a runner-up finish to open the spring portion of the team's 2021-22 schedule, USC Upstate women's golf seeks to build upon this momentum against a stacked tournament field—featuring five teams ranked in the top-100 of the GolfStat rankings—at the River Landing Classic.
Through two events this spring, the Spartans have seen four golfers place in the top-20 at both events, placing four golfers in the top-15 at the San Jose Intercollegiate last time out. Leading the quartet, redshirt sophomore Preaw Nontarux earned her sixth All-Tournament Team in seven events this season, finishing fifth behind scores of 74-79-72-225.
Rounding out the top-15 finishers for Upstate at the San Jose Intercollegiate, sophomore Suwarin Yord-in (82-73-74-225), redshirt junior Beem Pabsimma (80-71-79-230), and redshirt junior Kathryn Elliott (75-78-79-232) placed eighth, tied for 10th, and tied for 14th, respectively.
