Tournament Preview
After earning the team's seventh top-six placement of the season and its fourth top-three finish of the year, USC Upstate women's golf heads back to the course for a second time this week, competing at the Low Country Intercollegiate at Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Pacing the Spartans and earning her a second Big South Golfer of the Week honor this season, redshirt junior Beem Pabsimma topped the leaderboard at the Husky Invitational, securing her medalist honors at the event and her best finish of the season, fashioning scores of 75-74-74-223.
Earning a top-10 finish, redshirt sophomore Preaw Nontarux carded marks of 72-73-81-226 as she finished sixth at the event, her seventh top-10 finish of the year with each falling within the top-six. Rounding out a trio of top-25 finishers, sophomore Suwarin Yord-in tied for 22nd behind totals of 79-78-77-234.
As a team, the Spartans placed third on the Husky Invitational leaderboard, featuring among the top teams on the leaderboard through each round of play. Upstate fashioned scores of 305-311-309-925 while falling no lower than third at the conclusion of any of the event's three rounds.
