SPARTANBURG, S.C. – On the brink of Morgan Square Madness powered by Ingles, tickets for the 2023-24 USC Upstate men's and women's basketball season are now on-sale!
Ticket plans, including season ticket packages, group tickets and individual game ticket plans are now available at upstatespartans.com/tickets.
The Upstate men will host 13 regular season contests plus one open exhibition game slated for Wednesday, Nov. 1 vs. Erskine (7:30 p.m. ET). The Spartan women will host 12 regular season contests this season and will also an open exhibition Nov. 1 vs. Bob Jones University (5:00 pm.).
Head coach Dave Dickerson, entering his 6th season at the helm, returns the core of his team including Big South All-Freshman Team selections Justin Bailey (Taylors, S.C.) and Jordyn Surratt (Spartanburg, S.C.). For a second year in a row, the Spartans reached the Big South Conference Tournament semifinals and received a postseason tournament invitation, most recently in the College Basketball Invitational.
On the women's side, head coach Jason Williams also welcomes back the core of his team that had the best start to conference play in the program's Big South era while adding eight new additions to the roster. Tickets to the general public will not be available for the Dec. 18 "Education Day" game played to a packed house of third through fifth grade students. Season ticket holders will be moved to courtside seats for this contest slated to tip-off at 11:00 a.m.
Home game times this season will see weekday start times at 7:00 p.m. while Saturday game times will move 4:00 p.m. this season. There may be certain variations for local television coverage and doubleheader as well. Check upstatespartans.com or each team's social media accounts for the most up-to-date time and date information.
Again this season, during the Big South Conference portion of the schedule, the league will sponsor a largely "mirrored" schedule whereas when the men's team is at home against a league foe, the women's team is on the road facing the same league school and vice versa. The conference did accommodate a request for a homecoming doubleheader which will be Saturday, Feb. 17 inside the Hodge Center against Gardner-Webb. This mirrored format will follow a Wednesday/Saturday format with alterations made for the ESPNU Thursday Night Game of the Week package.
The ESPNU game selections are announced typically 10-14 days in advance of a contest. Each home regular season men's and women's basketball game will be broadcast on ESPN+ as part of the Big South Conference's agreement with ESPN.
USC Upstate has again partnered with TicketReturn as our point-of-sale ticketing company. The official secondary ticket marketplace for USC Upstate basketball tickets remains TicketSmarter.
