SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- It's good to be back. Â
The USC Upstate track and field teams are ready to return to the course for the first meet of the 2023-24 indoor season. The Spartans will return to the JDL Fast Track for the Visit Winston-Salem College Kick Off, which is where they've started the season the last three years. Â

Event PreviewÂ
The JDL Fast Track typically treats the Spartans well as last year Upstate saw two school records fall at the season opening meet, one of which was the women's weight throw record which was broken by Rachel Davis' at the time personal best of 54-02.75 feet. In addition, Kevon Chapman also took a top-ten finish in the meet last year while 11 Spartans set new personal bests. Â
