Event Preview
The Spartans travel to High Point for the three-day Big South Outdoor Championship held May 11-13. This outdoor season, Upstate has set five new school records and collected two Big South Outdoor Athletes of the Week honors.
Athletes to Watch
Shriyaan Krishnaraj has been strong for the Spartans all season long in the men's 400m Hurdles. Krishnaraj currently holds the fastest time in the Big South for the event at 52.05, which he set at the Georgia Tech Invite on April 17.
Jenelda Aristhil holds top marks for the Spartans in women's shot put, discus, and hammer throw. Aristhil is third in the Big South for hammer throw.
