Heading west of the Mississippi for the first time in a calendar year, USC Upstate women's golf looks to continue the momentous start to its spring season as it looks to build upon its top-five finish at the Rivertowne Invitational as play begins at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nev.

Leading to the team's fifth-place finish at the Rivertown Invitational, three Spartans concluded the event with top-25 placements on the final leaderboard as Upstate posted scores of 293-301-294-888. The team's first and third-round totals were the team's seventh and eighth sub-300 rounds of the year with the team's 54-hole total of 888 tying for the eighth lowest in program history.

Redshirt senior Beem Pabsimma paced Upstate with her second top-10 finish in as many events, tying for ninth behind marks of 73-72-72-217. Just behind her, junior Suwarin Yord-in and redshirt junior Preaw Nontarux tied for 13th and 22nd, posting scores of 71-74-73-218 and 73-76-72-221, respectively.

The Rivertowne Invitational also saw sophomore Elin Wahlgren and freshman Eliza Whiteside each marked in season-low 54-hole and 18-hole totals for the Spartans. Wahlgren carded marks of 83-79-77-239 with her 54-hole total representing the second lowest of her career while Whiteside posted totals of 76-90-80-246 with her opening-round 76 and 54-hole total 246 marking career lows.
