Three Top-15 Finishers and Another Top-10 Team Finish Highlight Women's Golf's Final Postseason Preparations at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate

MORGANTON, N.C. – Looking to continue its momentum from the spring season into the upcoming Big South Women's Golf Championships, USC Upstate women's golf finished its preparations for the postseason with a seventh straight top-10 finish with its eighth top-10 finish of the season as three Spartans earned top-15 finishes.

For the third time this season, three Spartans claimed top-15 finishes with two players finishing in the event's top-10 at the same event for the second time this season. Earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate and her third top-10 finish of the year, redshirt senior Beem Pabsimma led Upstate, placing fifth on the final leaderboard behind marks of 74-74-76-224.

Joining Pabsimma in the top 10, junior Suwarin Yord-in garnered her second straight top-10 finish as she finished seventh at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, fashioning scores of 75-78-74-227. Rounding out the group of top-15 scorers, redshirt junior Preaw Nontarux carded marks of 79-79-72-230, tying for 13^th.

As a team, Upstate finished sixth on the event leaderboard, carding marks of 314-316-301-931. The Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate stands as the Spartans' seventh top-10 finish—of eight such events—at a stroke play event this season and the team's eighth top-10 finish of the year, the fourth top-six finish for the Spartans.

Leading to her spot on the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate All-Tournament Team, Beem Pabsimma tied for third in the tournament field in Par-3 Scoring (3.17; +2), tied for eighth in Par-5 Scoring (5.00; E), and tied for ninth in total pars (34).
Contributing to her second consecutive top-10 finish, Suwarin Yord-in tied for third in the event field in total birdies (eight) and ranked 10^th in Par-4 Scoring (4.17; +5).
Earning a top-15 placement on the leaderboard, Preaw Nontarux tied for eighth in the tournament field in Par-5 Scoring (5.00; E) and tied for ninth in total pars (34).
