Fans Are Invited to Join Upstate Men's Golf for NCAA Selection Show Tomorrow

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After making program history by winning the 2025 Big South Men's Golf Championship last Wednesday, USC Upstate men's golf earned its first berth to the NCAA Tournament. Fans and media are invited to join the team and staff on Wednesday, April 30th at 12:45 pm at Carolina Country Club for the NCAA Selection Show.
The show will air on the Golf Channel beginning at 1:00 pm ET.
Upstate's path to the Big South Championship was nothing short of exciting, defeating High Point in the semifinal match play 3-2. Jackson Stone sank the putt that advanced the Spartans to the finals, winning his match at one up. Ross Wright and Alec Prentice each contributed to the semifinal win, taking their matches 4&3 and 3&1, respectively.
The championship match against Charleston Southern also finished in a dramatic fashion. Ross Wright once again took his match at 2&1, followed by Jackson Stone at 3&2 to even the contest at 2-2. Jaskaran Sohal and his opponent took their match to 19 holes, where Sohal birdied to earn the Spartans the title.
More information about the NCAA Tournament will be released tomorrow following the selection show.
