SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Preparing for the final week of regular season play with many implications on the line for tournament seeding, Upstate Men's Basketball travels to Radford, Virginia for their final road game against Radford looking to tie the season series continuing their late push.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Junior Forward, Jafeth Martinez continues to be the man in the middle protecting the rim on the defensive end for the Spartans as he leads Upstate with 1.7 blocks a game and is the only Spartans to corral double digit rebounds on four different occasions on the year (10, 12, 11, 12). Martinez has maintained being ranked top-50 in the NCAA in the blocks category (#47) while being ranked third in the Big South. Martinez adds 4.2 points a game where he added seven points in the win over Presbyterian and one block. As Radford looks to move past the Spartans, Martinez will be a player to keep an eye on as he looks to man the paint.
Radford: Sophomore Guard, Del Jones has managed the scoring load with Dennis Parker Jr. As he is second on the Highlanders with 17.0 points a game while shooting 42 percent from the field and 81 percent from the charity stripe. From January 14 to February 4, Jones had a seven-game streak scoring 20 points or more where went on a tear including a season-high of 27 points in the January 29 matchup against Charleston Southern. As Radford takes the court hosting Upstate for Thursday night action, Del Jones will be a player to watch in the backcourt as he looks to help Radford earn a season sweep over Upstate.
Up next for the Spartans
Following the regular season road finale, Upstate Men's Basketball returns to the G.B. Hodge for the final time during the regular season, hosting Gardner-Webb for Saturday afternoon action at 2:00 P.M. Eastern time. Saturday's game will also serve as Senior Day for the program with Isaiah Skinner and Breylin Garcia scheduled to be recognized as the first two seniors during the Marty Richter era. The ceremony is scheduled to take place prior to the tipoff.
