SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Taking the court for a quick turnaround, Upstate Men's Basketball returns to the G.B. Hodge Center for their final home game of the 2025-26 season. The Spartans looks to even the season series with the Runnin' Bulldogs and end home play with potentially their 10th home win of the season.

Players to Watch
Redshirt Senior Guard/Forward, Isaiah Skinner, continues to improve across the boards being a great player in his role that can pass to the open man, knock down three-pointers and contribute on the defensive end. Skinner boosted his shooting percentage 37 percent from the field while shooting 35 percent from beyond the arc and 82 percent from the charity stripe. Skinner doubled his assists totals during the 2025-26 season and adda a 1.80 assist to turnover ratio. As Skinner prepares for Senior Day, he looks to help Upstate earn their first win against Gardner-Webb during the Marty Richter era.
Gardner-Webb: Sophomore Forward, Jacob Hogarth leads Gardner-Webb with 11.2 points per game and shined in the previous meeting against Upstate with 17 points while adding 11 rebounds. Hogarth continues to turn his game into another level as he has led the charge with 11.7 points during Big South play and helped Gardner-Webb earn their first division one win of the season over Upstate in January. Hogarth looks to man the post on Saturday, February 28th and continue their streak over Upstate.

Following the regular season finale, Upstate Men's Basketball will await their official seeding announced by the Big South and prepare for the Big South Men's Basketball Championships in Johnson City between March 4-8.
