Baseball Continues Road Swing, Beginning Four-Game SEC Stretch Tuesday at South Carolina

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – For the first time during the 2026 campaign, USC Upstate baseball faces a single midweek contest, continuing its nine-game road swing and beginning a four-game stretch against foes from the Southeastern Conference with a return to the Palmetto State, hitting the capital for a clash with South Carolina. The Spartans and Gamecocks meet for the 19th time in Upstate's Division I era (2007-pres.), meeting for the fifth straight season with a 6:30 p.m. first pitch time Tuesday.

On the season at large, factoring in two additional relief appearances, Kaplan pitches to a 1.32 ERA over 13.2 innings of work.
