Spartans Conclude GMAC Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — USC Upstate men's golf wrapped up play at the GMAC Invitational following three rounds of competition, with five Spartans completing the tournament.
Senior Alec Prentice led the Spartans, finishing the 54-hole event with a 215 (+5). Prentice opened with rounds of 72 and 72 before closing with a 71 in the final round.
Freshman Siradech Chanha finished at 221 (+11), carding rounds of 77, 76 and a team-best 68 in the final round.
Senior Cameron Biddle also posted a 221 (+11), shooting rounds of 73, 75 and 73 across the three days.
Freshman Carsen Stanfield finished at 226 (+16) after rounds of 78, 76 and 72, while freshman Daniel Price rounded out the Spartans with a 232 (+22), recording rounds of 75, 82 and 75.
